Arrive Delhi 2230PM. Transfer to
hotel |
Day 02:
|
Delhi Kalka Shimla
Transfer to station to board train
to Shimla - The train, (Shatabdi
Express) leaves New Delhi railway
station at 0710 in the morning and
reaches Kalka at 1200 hours. You
will be transferred by cars to
Shimla from Kalka station covering
80 Kms. Evening a walk on famous
Mall road would relax you fully
taking you to British Indian
streets. |
Day 03:

Shimla to Sarahan drive/ 177 Kms
A fantastic drive on Old Hindustan
Tibet road indeed through beautiful
valleys and colorful mountains From
a distance the Great Himalayan
Ranges with its more than 50 Kms
snow capped ranges do mesmerize one
who will be driving for about half
of the day with the presence of this
majestic view. Reach Rampurand
further to Sarahan- the beautiful
place with Bhimakali temple. |
Day 04:

Drive to Karcham and then to Kalpa
We drive down till Jeori on same
road of yesterday where we get ready
to take on the road to Kinnaur. This
is the entrance to Kinnaur, and once
again we are on the trail of the
Sutlej valley. Reach Kalpa and the
evening is spent complete with a
visit to the Reckong Peo Monastery
and Chini, which used to be the
district headquarter earlier and was
famous for Lord Dalhousies
preference for the place as his
summer abode over Shimla. |
Day 05:
|
Kalpa to Tabo via Kanum, Morang and
Labrang.194Kms
Morning after breakfast we drive
towards tabo- the destination of the
day. On the way we visit few
monasteries of the time of Rinchen
Zangpo to understand the rich
architecture, system and growth of
Trans Himalayan Buddhism. Visit to
Chango Village. It is called "Little
Tibet" because it has almost the
same terrain, vegetation & climate.
Spiti also means "Middle Country".
It lies between Tibet, Ladakh,
Kinnaur, Lahoul & Kullu. Reach Tabo,
check into the hotel and visit Tabo
Monastery or Chos Khor in the
evening. The place is called Ajanta
of Himalayas too and the more than
1000 years old monastery is the
finest in Himalayas . |
Day
06:
|
Tabo to Kaza with Dankhar, Lalung
and Kungri
Morning walk to the facing caves and
drive to Dankhar and Lalung
monasteries which are other finest
monasteries in Spiti. We cross the
river and turn into Pin Valley to
explore another centuries old
monastery Kungri. Drive back to main
road and reach Kaza for the night
stay in hotel. |
Day 07:
|
Kaza to Ki and Kibber - Hikkim,
Langza
Morning we drive towards Kibber
village and on the way visit to Kee
monastery which is the biggest in
the valley. After Kibber village we
take a way to a mysterious but
extremely beautiful monasteries and
villages of Langza, Hikkim and Komik.
Komic is the highest village of
world connected with road. The
monasteries are very special in
these remote areas. Back to hotel by
evening. |
Day 08:
|
Zaka- Kelong 187km
Today we will drive to Kelong via
Rangrik, Losar, Pangmo and kunzum la
pass 4551mt which is the highest
pass in the Spiti valley, just below
the pass a road goes to Chandartal
Lake, then we will drive via Batal,
Chaturu and after a while we will
meet the leh Manali road, overnight
in Kelong. |
Day 09: |
Kelong- Serchu 120km
Breakfast in the hotel then we will
drive to Serchu via Darcha and
Baralacha pass 4900mt which is the
second highest pass in the
Leh-manali road, dinner and
overnight in the camp. |
Day
10: |
Serchu-Tsomoriri 195km
After an early breakfast will drive
to Tsomoriri Lake via Tsokar Lake on
the way we will see Tibetan Nomades
with Yaks and Pashmina goats, we may
also see some wild ass dinner and
overnight in camp. |
Day
11: |
Tsomoriri-Leh 240Km
Morning after the breakfast we will
visit the Korzok monastery then we
will drive to Leh via Mahe bridge
where we will meet the Indus driver
evening will reach leh, dinner and
overnight in Hotel. |
Day
12: |
Leh
Full-day tour of Shey, Thiksey, and
Stok. Shey is the old capital of
Ladakh. The old Palace is situated
on top of a small ridge overlooking
the Indus River. It houses a sizable
Buddha. Thiksey in one of the most
pictures Monastary of Ladakh.Then we
shall return and cross the River
Indus at Choglumsar to Visit stok
Village with its palace. Stok
commands grand view of Leh. Return
to leh for Overnight stay. |
Day
13: |
Leh
Full day trip to Hemis and Tak Tak
monasteries. Hemis is one of the
oldest monasteries hidden inside
valley. Its annual festival is
famous all over the world. We drive
further up to Tak Tak a small but
very interesting monastery in the
remotest are of Ladakh. Return to
Leh for Overnight at Hotel. |

14: |
Leh-Nubra valley 130km
Today we will drive to Nubra valley
with inner line permit, will drive
Khardong la pass 5600mt which is the
worlds highest motor able road, we
can see Karakoram range from the
top, visit Disket monastery and
Hundar village the may be some camel
ride in the san dunes . |

15: |
Nubra- Leh
Morning visit Panamic hot spring and
Samstanling monastery, then Drive to
Leh via Khardong la pass upon
arrival first visit Shanti stupa and
Sankar monastery overnight in hotel. |
Day
16: |
Leh Delhi
Transfer to airport to board flight
to Delhi. Upon arrival transfer to
hotel. |

17: |
